Calling all budding astronomers and stargazers! The D.S. Senanayake College Astronomical Society is thrilled to announce the Sky Mate Camp, a night of celestial exploration in collaboration with the Colombo University Astronomical Society.

This overnight camp offers a unique opportunity for students and their families to:
- Gaze upon the wonders of the night sky: Learn about constellations, planets, and other celestial objects under the expert guidance of Colombo University’s Astronomical Society.
- Unleash your inner astronomer: Participate in interactive activities and workshops to deepen your understanding of the universe.
- Bond with fellow star enthusiasts: Make new friends and share your passion for astronomy with other students and their families.
Important Participation Information
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please adhere to the following rules:
Permissions and Attire:
- Mandatory Permission: All participants must submit a signed parental permission letter along with a valid permission card to be granted entry.
- Dresscode: Students are required to wear the official D.S. Senanayake College t-shirt and bottoms throughout the camp.
Supervision and Departure:
- Leaving School Grounds: Once participants arrive at the camp, they are not permitted to leave the school grounds without prior permission from a designated teacher.
- Parental Supervision for Younger Students: Parents of students aged 6-9 years must be present throughout the camp.
- Safeguarding Girls (6-13 years): Female students aged 6-13 can only leave the school grounds when accompanied by their parents.
Prohibited Items:
- Prohibited Items: Strictly no prohibited items are allowed to be brought to the school grounds.
